Hanoi – I love you! (SEA 96)
Last post: Where to eat the best Street Food in Hanoi (SEA 95)
Honestly I have to say that I woke up with a hangover. My head wasn´t in a mood to get up after I went to the Hanoi Backpackers. Before I got there I had a few glasses of Bia Hoi and right after I spent some hours in the hostel I went to a club with some guys from the hostel. Ok, my fault.
But at the end I got up and I met Chris from England to go out some more street food highlights. First we had a late breakfast. And what´s best after you had a hangover? Right: Some fried dumplings called Banh Goi. Banh Goi are filled with meat or vegetables. We had some with meat and mushrooms. This small restaurant is always packed with locals and can be found at 52 Ly Quoc Su!
On the way to the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh we found another small street food stall. Here we ate Bun Cha. Grilled minced pork patties served with Vermicelli noodles and a spicy dipping sauce. Another must eat when you are in Vietnam.
With a filled stomach we just walked on the streets of Hanoi and especially the old quarter to enjoy the vibe of the city. The next days you will read more about the streets of Hanoi.
